I’m a 23-year-old from Cape Town, South Africa. After high school, I pursued a degree in Digital Marketing. I then took the initiative to reopen my father-in-law’s closed café in response to the post-COVID tourism surge. I dream of opening my own bakery specialising in almond croissants and Vietnamese coffee (coffee is inspired by a 2-month journey through Vietnam). If I had to choose my last meal on earth, it would probably be a gooey almond croissant paired with an iced coconut coffee (yes, I’m passionate about croissants). In search of fresh inspiration, I left home and have been exploring SE Asia with my partner for the past 6 months, with plans to continue for another 3-4 months. I’m driven, bubbly, outgoing, kind, and supportive, with experience as a waitress, bartender, and café owner, as well as a client success manager, which has sharpened my customer service and hospitality skills. I love outdoor activities like camping, cold ocean dips, bonfires, hiking, and snorkelling.
