Hello there! I’m Kai from Malaysia, born and raised in Johor Bahru, the southernmost city on the Eurasian continent.

I am a TV documentary producer/director, writer, and a self-proclaimed “amateur photographer.” My works usually focus on human-centric topics, and issues faced by minorities and underprivileged groups to raise awareness among audiences. I believe that no one should be left behind, and nothing happens in this world without touching us in some way.

While living a hybrid life as a digital nomad, I am keen to explore visual and experimental arts, or any fields I haven’t yet ventured into. After all, we are born to experience what life truly is.

I love taking portraits and consider myself a good listener who enjoys hearing human stories. I would be more than happy to take portraits of you and listen to your journey, rather than talking about mine.
