Three months ago at the tender age of '40 something' , I decided to take a hiatus from work, sell everything I own, and packed my bags. My aim is to slowly travel the world, see as much as I can and volunteer along the way.
In Tasmania I work as a production assistant/office manager for News Corp. My main tasks range from inventory control, ordering, freigh distribution, hiring contractors, and training and inducting staff on heavy machinery (Gas Forklifts).
I have also worked in business management, customer service and the hospitality industry.
I recently spent a month volunteering with Dorms KL doing reception, handling social media, replying to customer reviews and taking guests on tours. I loved the experience and am now looking for a new adventure.
